Kearny Alliance has released
the
Vietnam Sourcing Report: Ceramic & Porcelain with the support of its

Global Sources,
to offer global buyers quality suppliers from Vietnam. All suppliers are
confident sales will grow by 10 percent in 2010.
The report features profiles of 35 experienced manufacturers and 117

director of The Kearny Alliance. “These attributes – combined with the
readily available supplies of clay and skilled workers – are key
strengths of the sector in Vietnam.”
One supplier featured in the report, Le Ngoc Ha, director of Hop Luc,
said: “The recovery signs of the global economy, especially from the
U.S. where our company is targeting, have allowed us to believe that
export orders will soon be regained.
“We can clearly see these activities through our website on Global
Sources Online, as buyer inquiries are strong and trending up. While
buyer demand is steady for our lower-end dinnerware and home decor, we
are very keen to secure new orders for our higher-end items as we offer
competitive quotes.”
Survey results indicate US key target export market and prices
to trend up
The survey of Vietnam ceramic and porcelain manufacturers featured in
the report shows:
- 88 percent of makers expect to increase quotes in the next 6
months;
- 50 percent plan to raise prices by only 5 percent;

Online.
“This marketing to the Global Sources community of more than 850,000
buyers helps suppliers sell to volume importers worldwide – and gives

DELHI,
Dec. 16, 2009 – The non-profit
Kearny Alliance has

India Sourcing Report: Garments to give global buyers access to

These include casual wear, evening and cocktail dresses, polo and

Exports, said: “Until we worked with the Kearny Alliance, we had not
focused on clear unique selling points in our marketing practices.
“This new understanding, together with the free 4-month marketing
exposure via Global Sources Online, can really make us become more
professional in export communication, help attract new buyers and
generate new orders.”

generated provide jobs for workers, enable them to support their
families and improve their livelihood: That to us is Aid through Trade
in action.”

Cambodia Sourcing Report: Silk Fashion Accessories
pre-screened suppliers now online with business-to-business websites on
Global Sources Online
Twenty-one experienced export manufacturers offer hand-crafted silk
fashion bags and wallets, scarves and garments to professional buyers
worldwide
PHNOM PENH, Nov. 3, 2009 – The non-profit
Kearny Alliance has enabled business-to-business websites on
Global Sources
Online
for 21 export suppliers who will be featured in the upcoming
Cambodia Sourcing Report: Silk Fashion Accessories.
Each manufacturer’s website offers complete company details plus
full-color images of their products, which range from evening and
shoulder bags, scarves and jewelry to men’s and women’s blouses, skirts
and dresses.
The Kearny Alliance team interviewed senior managers in person to verify
all have export experience – a pre-requisite to participate in the
program – and offer hand-crafted merchandise made in Cambodia.
Stunning handmade silk fashion accessories – traditional styles,
modern influence
“Buyers looking for unique, handcrafted accessories will discover silk
products from Cambodia that are truly stunning,” said Alexander Boome,
program director of The Kearny Alliance.
“These accessories reflect traditional influences but for the most part
express modern design thinking. The price points reflect the hand-made
nature of the products – but the flexibility of low minimum order
requirements and mixed lots can more than offset this through overall
lower cash requirements and potentially less excess stock.”
Buyers can learn more about capability of featured suppliers, preview
products and inquire by going to

the thousands of needy people and communities who produce the goods.
These range from orphans, landmine and polio victims to the deaf and
handicapped.
“The organizations we work with are very focused on meeting buyers’
demands in terms of quality and delivery as they realize that through

Philippine suppliers will focus on designs incorporating
indigenous materials,” said Alexander Boome, program
director of the non-profit
Kearny Alliance,
which produced the report with the support of
